Quilting a Charity Project
If my machine is not already spoken for, I may quilt you charity projects for free. Please contact me for availability and send your top, batting, and backing. I will use my own thread, unless you prefer for me to use yours. All thread must be 30 weight thread, as my machine will not work with the normal 50 weight thread. Please include my business on any lists you send out with the charity projects that I quilt.
Creating a Quilt for a Charity
If you are working with an organization and would like to commission a charity raffel quilt, I may creat the entire quilt for free. Again, please contact me first for availablity. I will also require you to send the fabric and batting for the quilt. Any quilt that I create from start to finish will have my business label on the back.
Charities that I participate in
I currently donate quilts and quilting work to Quilts of Valor through my Quilt Guild. I also donate quilts to the local childrens hospital through my Quilt Guild. I will be donating a quilt to Camp Walter Johnson, to be given to a child camper in need. The camp is run by the Salvation Army and is in Denton, North Carolina.
